Event Space Details

The E15 Lower Atrium and Bartos theater are no longer available for event bookings.

The E14 6th floor Winter Garden and Silverman Skyline rooms are reserved together as one space.

All event rooms are self-service. Amenities such as a catering kitchen and furniture are included and available on a first-scheduled, first-served basis. Each event space offers different A/V setups. For some setups, a third-party audiovisual vendor is required.

The E14 3rd floor atrium is only available to internal Media Lab groups.

Event Rooms

E14-633: Dreyfoos Lecture Hall

Room Capacity: This room offers fixed seating for 96 individuals with a maximum occupancy of 106 persons.

It is important to note that food and drink are not permitted in the Lecture Hall.

E14-638: Winter Garden

E14-638 Winter Garden Room is an open reception space, which is reserved in conjunction with the adjacent Silverman Skyline reception space.

Room Capacity: The Winter Garden space can comfortably accommodate up to 175 guests in a standing reception setting.
Banquet-style seating can accommodate up to 90 guests.

Available Equipment: Seamless connectivity is available with electrical and data outlets integrated into floor boxes.

E14-648: Silverman Skyline Room

The Silverman Skyline offers an awe-inspiring panoramic view of the Charles River and a terrace for guests to connect with each other and enjoy the scenic surroundings. This space is reserved in conjunction with the adjacent Winter Garden, but can be used as a separate room with the delineating "Air Wall" which can be moved into any desired position. Fully closed with doors to pass-through, or partially closed to create a sense of shared space.

Room Capacity: The Silverman Skyline can hold 145 guests in a standing reception. Banquet-style seating holds up to 130 guests. Additionally, the terrace can accommodate 32 people maximum. For more information see terrace access.

The wall-mounted array screen is composed of 46" tiles and provides a 138" diagonal display capable of accommodating laptop or fiber optic (SDI) input. The array screen supports a maximum resolution of 1920x1200 and accepts VGA, DVI, and (unencrypted) HDMI sources. The speaker system can be seamlessly connected to the Winter Garden via a column speaker.

E14-674: Multi Purpose Room

Room Capacity:
This space holds 300 guests in a standing reception.
For lecture-style events, the seating configuration accommodates around 250 guests. Banquet seating has a capacity to accommodate around 200 guests.
