Cassandra is a third-year Ph.D. student at MIT Media Lab's Center for Constructive Communication. Her research interests involve building human-AI collaborative systems that promote constructive civic communication in community engagement processes. Some of her recent research projects include designing Voice to Vision, a platform for bridging community voices and planning decisions, and creating StoryBuilder, a pipeline that transforms community input into accessible narratives. Before arriving at CCC, she attended Olin College of Engineering and graduated with a degree in computer science. Outside of research, she enjoys baking and reading.
